Sara + Rance
I had never met these two before. Now normally, I get to know the bride and groom at the engagement session, however Sara refused to have an engagement session, I tried so hard. Turn’s out both her and Rance do NOT like being in front of the camera.
So Saturday morning, I was a tad nervous. I was blindly walking into this wedding day without meeting them. Cue the butterflies.
I met Rance first. Southern Gentleman. Sweet and working hard to make sure it was exactly how Sara imagined it would be.
…and then I met Sara. I instantly clicked with her. We talked a little, cried a little (Thanks, Delta) and talked about their love story.
They’ve been together for 12 years. TWELVE YEARS. One line stood out when we were talking about them. Sara said “I’ve loved Rance ever since he was a freckled face little boy.” She used to ride by his house just to see if he was outside. Isn’t that the sweetest little story. So reminded me of “Sweet Home Alabama”
“Why would you wanna marry me for, anyhow?”
“So I can kiss ya anytime I want.”
The wedding day was so stress free. Sara kept telling everyone to not stress over anything. Not enough table cloths…hey, don’t worry about it. Literally a dream bride.
Pixie, Rance’s father, built the little house for them to married under. In the midst of hundreds of blueberry trees, Sara + Rance said “I do.” It couldn’t have been any more southern, perfect and dreamy.
I fell in love with this little garden house!
SEE YA FRIDAY, WHITNEY! 😉
(Sara’s Uncle asked if he could take a picture) ha!
Do it , Daddy-O!
I had to promise Rance that this was the last time I’d whisk him and Sara away for (more) portraits. The sunset over the blueberry field was amazing and I couldn’t resist.
Congratulations, Sara + Rance!
